The role
We are looking for an experienced Interim Credit Control Manager to lead and strengthen our credit control function during a 3–6 month assignment.
You must be immediately available, commercially minded, highly organised and confident in engaging professionally and assertively with clients and internal stakeholders. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on improving processes, enhancing reporting and supporting efficient cash collection.
Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the credit control process across the firm.

Drive timely collection of outstanding debts and reduce aged WIP and debt.

Review, map and improve existing credit control workflows and templates. Introduce practical process improvements, reporting and controls.

Work closely with Finance Partners, fee earners and senior stakeholders.

Support a professional, client-focused approach to debt recovery.
About you

Proven credit control management experience, ideally within a professional services or legal environment.

Tech-savvy and confident using finance systems, reporting tools and process automation.

Process-driven, proactive and able to identify and implement improvements quickly.

Professional, resilient and appropriately assertive in stakeholder and client communications.

Able to provide strong, relevant client references.
This is a fully remote, outside IR35 engagement with a supportive firm and the opportunity to make an immediate, meaningful impact.
