The full posting
About the role The company is a U.S. healthcare organization looking for a senior data professional to join its Corporate Compliance team. This is a newly created role: you will turn a largely manual billing audit process into the data, tools and reports that show compliance performance over time, working closely with auditors and leadership.
What you'll do
-
Build, from the ground up, data collection tools, Excel models and dashboards that track billing audit findings, error rates and trends.
-
Consolidate audit results and present clear reports and insights to programs, executive leadership and compliance committees.
-
Apply statistical sampling and data quality checks to audit findings.
-
Work with the Finance and Data Analytics teams to integrate their data warehouses with the compliance team's work.
-
Review billing documentation and support audits and investigations when needed.
-
Research healthcare regulations and use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to support analysis and process building.
What we're looking for
-
Senior experience (around 6+ years) in data analysis and reporting, including building tools and processes from scratch.
-
Advanced Excel and hands-on experience with Power BI or a similar BI tool.
-
Fluent English, with the ability to present findings to U.S. executives.
-
Autonomy to work without close supervision, and the ability to explain data to non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
-
Experience in healthcare, especially billing, claims, revenue cycle or compliance audits.
-
Familiarity with U.S. healthcare regulations (Medicaid, CMS, HIPAA).
-
Experience with EHR systems and with reviewing narrative or clinical documentation.
Details
-
100% remote, full-time, 35 hours per week.
-
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
