About the Role
Join a product engineering team building AI-powered productivity software. You will turn advances in agent systems into reliable capabilities that help users complete real work, shaping both the underlying platform and the experiences built on it.
What You'll Do
-
Explore advances in reasoning, planning, memory, tool use, and agent collaboration to identify useful product opportunities.
-
Build reusable agent skills and workflows that address concrete user needs.
-
Develop the Python agent harness, including execution loops, orchestration, context management, structured outputs, retries, and error recovery.
-
Design tools and integrations for email, calendars, messaging, browsers, documents, CRMs, and business software.
-
Own capabilities across Python agents, Django services, APIs, React interfaces, data models, background jobs, observability, and production operations.
-
Improve latency, cost, reliability, and safety, and use evaluations, production traces, and user feedback to address system issues.
-
Set technical direction for ambiguous problems and contribute through design reviews and thoughtful implementation.
What We're Looking For
-
At least 5 years of experience building, deploying, and operating production software systems end to end.
-
Strong Python proficiency, experience with Django and scalable backend services, and working knowledge of APIs, React, and TypeScript.
-
Hands-on experience with agent systems, including planning, tool calling, structured outputs, context and state management, retries, and orchestration.
-
Experience building integrations with external APIs and business software, plus reusable platform abstractions.
-
Ability to translate ambiguous user needs and emerging technology into clear product capabilities.
-
Strong systems design, analytical debugging, communication, and production quality practices.
-
Experience optimizing distributed systems for latency, cost, and reliability, or working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or model evaluation, is valuable.
-
A degree from a highly regarded engineering program and a track record of sustained contribution or career progression.
