About the Role
Rachel is a fractional CMO consultancy helping brands grow through smart, intentional marketing. We're looking for a creative and organised Social Media Manager & Marketing VA to support day-to-day content creation, social media management, and campaign monitoring across multiple client accounts.
You'll work closely with the client to bring content to life — sourcing existing assets, editing them into polished social posts, monitoring ad performance, and keeping KPI reporting on track. This role is perfect for someone who lives on social media, has a good eye for content, and wants to grow within a dynamic, fast-moving marketing environment.
What You'll Do
Content Creation & Social Media
- Create and schedule social media posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Source existing photos and videos from approved asset libraries and edit/repurpose into social-ready content
- Use Canva (and provided templates) to produce on-brand graphics and posts
- Write engaging captions and copy that align with each client's brand voice
- Maintain a consistent content calendar across accounts
Paid Ads Support
- Monitor Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns — flag performance issues and opportunities
- Set up new ad campaigns and creative as directed
- Ensure content and creative assets are properly uploaded and live
Reporting & Admin
- Pull performance reports from Meta, Google, and other platforms
- Compile KPI summaries using AI tools and/or existing reporting templates
- Track key metrics and flag notable trends to Rachel on a regular basis
- Assist with general admin and workflow coordination across client accounts
Must-Haves
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and what performs well organically
- Proficiency in Canva — able to work within templates and maintain brand consistency
- Clear, engaging writing skills — captions, copy, and outreach emails
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (campaign setup and monitoring)
- Highly organised with strong time management across multiple accounts
- Available Mon–Fri, 10 AM – 2 PM Eastern Time
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other professional design tools
- Background in multi-client or agency environments
- Experience pulling and formatting marketing KPI reports
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar)
Application Note
Please include a portfolio or work samples with your application — even a few examples of social posts, Canva designs, or content you've created. These don't need to be extensive; we just want to see your eye for content and your style.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, loves social media, and wants to contribute to real client results, we'd love to hear from you.
