Allata is a global consulting and technology services firm founded in 2016, with 350+ employees across the US, India, and Argentina. We partner with some of the world's largest enterprises to move AI from idea to production — building intelligent agents, data foundations, and governance frameworks that scale.

Our teams work at the intersection of strategy, engineering, data, and design, helping clients modernize their technology, unlock data value, and create meaningful digital experiences. At Allata, you'll join an agile, cross-functional team that works closely alongside clients — making a real impact and building lasting partnerships.

We are looking for a hands-on Application Support Engineer to own and support multiple custom business applications . This person will investigate production issues, deliver bug fixes and minor enhancements, and help keep applications reliable, secure, and maintainable. The role combines production support with practical software engineering; it is not limited to ticket triage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take technical ownership of multiple applications, learning their architecture, integrations, and business purpose.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues using logs, monitoring tools, code, and database queries.
  • Develop, test, and deploy bug fixes and minor enhancements following team engineering and change-management practices.
  • Prioritize issues by business impact, communicate progress clearly, and escalate when needed.
  • Investigate recurring incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive improvements.
  • Maintain runbooks, application documentation, and support knowledge.
  • Collaborate with customer stakeholders, developers, QA, cloud/infrastructure teams, and service delivery colleagues.
  • Use approved AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, code comprehension, testing, and documentation while independently validating outputs and protecting customer information.

Hard Skills - Must have::

  • Hands-on experience supporting and modifying custom applications in a production environment.
  • Ability to read, debug, and change C#/.NET application code; familiarity with ASP.NET Core is valuable.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, Git, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience supporting applications hosted in a major cloud platform, such as Azure or AWS .
  • Ability to troubleshoot systematically across application code, databases, integrations, and cloud services.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools, including sound judgment about output quality, testing, security, and data privacy.
  • Strong ownership, prioritization, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
