Zelh is a fast-growing, passionate outsourcing company. Our mission is to be the most reliable company by offering and maintaining high-quality services consistently. We achieve the mission by fostering long-term relationships with customers, employees, and vendors. Personal attention, timely communication, and respect for all people are the basis of our business philosophy! Our client is a leading US-based technology-enabled transportation and logistics company providing comprehensive freight brokerage and supply chain management services across North America. They leverage proprietary technology platforms to deliver efficient, reliable transportation solutions for their customers. We are looking for an Afterhours Account Executive with experience in U.S. logistics, freight brokerage, or expedited transportation. The primary focus will be managing expedited freight, especially smaller equipment such as cargo vans, Sprinter vans, and box trucks. The role will include tracking active shipments, sourcing carriers, coordinating pickups and deliveries, resolving after-hours issues, and communicating with customers. When expedited volume is low, the person will also support Truckload operations through tracking, carrier communication, and general load support. Key Responsibilities Source carriers and secure capacity for expedited shipments, including cargo vans, Sprinter vans, and box trucks. Dispatch small equipment and Truckload shipments for specific customers. Track active expedited shipments and monitor their status from pickup to delivery. Communicate with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to provide timely updates. Handle after-hours issues, delays, missed appointments, and other shipment-related problems. Coordinate pickups and deliveries and make sure shipments stay on schedule. Enter loads and update shipment information in the TMS as needed. Maintain regular customer communication and respond to shipment-related questions. Support Truckload operations during slower expedited periods, including tracking and carrier communication. Proactively resolve operational issues to ensure smooth shipment execution and strong customer service.
