Lead engaging, one-on-one Spanish tutoring sessions. Adapt lessons to each learner's proficiency level and assigned topics. Encourage natural, substantive back-and-forth conversation. Follow the provided lesson structure and project instructions. Conduct recorded sessions and help ensure the sessions stay focused, with minimal dead air and no extended off-topic discussion. Sessions must run for at least 20 minutes and will generally last 20–30 minutes.
We are seeking fluent Spanish tutors with strong verbal communication skills who can deliver consistent, high-quality instruction to native English-speaking learners at different proficiency levels. Required qualifications and experience: Fluent Spanish with strong verbal communication. Bachelor’s degree or higher. At least three years of Spanish teaching or tutoring experience. Experience teaching native English speakers at varying proficiency levels. Ability to adapt lesson structure and communication style to each learner. Reliable availability and a strong track record of punctuality. Comfort participating in recorded online sessions. We encourage tutors from a range of Spanish-speaking backgrounds, including Spain, Mexico, and other regions, to apply.
Experience delivering structured, lesson-plan-driven tutoring while maintaining learner engagement. Strong classroom presence and the ability to keep conversations on-topic while reducing silence (dead air). Comfort with asynchronous review or feedback cycles tied to recorded sessions.
