About Tailor Platform

We support more people in becoming product creators by providing "Tailor Platform," a platform that enables rapid development of business systems. In one line, Tailor Platform is "Headless ERP for Enterprises." It is a product that provides the core systems used by enterprise companies (defined by us as large companies with over 3,000 employees) in a Headless format. We were the first in the world to launch a "Headless ERP," which dramatically enhances the flexibility and scalability of traditional ERP systems (integrated business application suites that manage orders, inventory, accounting, organizations, etc.), and we are deploying it to large Japanese corporations and mid-to-large US corporations.

Purpose of the Tailor Platform Product

Our Environment Globally, mid-to-large enterprises are accelerating their digital transformation by combining dozens of "Best of Breed" cloud SaaS solutions, each excelling in specific use cases, rather than relying on "all-in-one" package systems. In this context, the role of core systems that form the company-wide foundation is changing significantly. There is a growing need for systems that can be quickly modified to adapt to rapidly changing business and technological environments, and that are API-enabled for easy and deep integration with external software. As a pioneer of the Headless ERP concept, we are building the next generation of business application infrastructure that will revolutionize corporate activities. We have already achieved success in replacing systems for major companies based on SAP, an industry leader in ERP, and in large companies with over 30,000 employees.

Specific Job Responsibilities

• Development of tools for automating deployment and server construction.
• Monitoring, performance tuning of applications, middleware, and cloud services.
• Failure detection and capacity planning.

Required Qualifications

• Experience using various cloud services such as AWS and GCP.
• Experience operating Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, or a strong interest in them.
• Programming skills to add features and fix bugs in applications and middleware necessary for improving system performance and reliability.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP.
• Experience building and operating monitoring environments for failure detection and capacity planning.
• Experience operating RDBMS such as PostgreSQL.
• Experience leading a team technically as a Tech Lead (Lead Engineer).
• Specialist experience as an Individual Contributor.
• Ability to work remotely.
  • Depending on the role, written communication skills in English (reading/writing) may be required, but we will make appropriate assignments based on a balance with technical skills. Language proficiency will not be a knockout factor, so please feel free to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of security.
• Experience building and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Linux.
• Experience building and operating log collection and analysis infrastructure for rapid data analysis.
• Experience in standardization and development of Open Source products.
• Business English proficiency.
