Syngenta's Commercial Team is seeking a Crop Protection Sales Intern. In this role, you will participate in a curriculum-based, integrated learning opportunity that prepares you to be a leader in territory sales in the agriculture industry. As part of Syngenta's Emerging Talent Program, you will gain hands-on experience, exposure to day-to-day business operations, and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while developing your professional skills.

Locations: Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan Estimated Duration: May 2027 – August 2027 Accountabilities: Engage growers and resellers in solution-based, consultative selling to achieve sales targets. Manage and support the customer base in a defined geography. Advise channel partners on the presentation of products and promotional materials.

Identify and analyze customer needs. Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective ways of working that enable the Sales Team. Develop skills and experience to further your career by building product and agronomic expertise, as well as refining your communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Sophomore or junior class standing, working toward a bachelor’s degree, preferably in agriculture or a related field. Demonstrated leadership ability in student organizations and/or work experiences. Effective writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.

A valid driver’s license and an acceptable moving violations record. Strong customer focus, business acumen, resilience, interpersonal savvy, and integrity. Additional Information
Salary for this position ranges between $20 - $45 hourly.
