Senior C++ Engineer (Desktop Applications)

Company Description We are looking for an experienced Senior C++ Engineer to work on large-scale desktop software products in Medical domain. The role focuses on performance optimization, stability improvements, modernization of legacy systems, and development of high-quality desktop applications.

Job Description Develop and maintain high-quality desktop application components using modern C++ Implement scalable multithreading and concurrency solutions Analyze, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks in complex desktop systems Participate in modernization and refactoring of legacy codebases Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver stable and efficient solutions Contribute to software quality improvements, debugging activities, and system stability initiatives Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve development workflows and accelerate implementation activities Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices initiatives

Qualifications 5+ years of commercial experience in C++ software development Strong expertise in modern C++ standards including C++14/17/20 Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and performance optimization Hands-on experience with desktop application development Practical experience with Qt Experience working with Make, Conan, and MSVC Experience with CEF integration Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English WILL BE A PLUS • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and development workflows • Experience working in regulated software environments • Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • German language skills
