As an Instructional Designer on Ro’s Care Delivery team, you will design and develop scalable learning experiences for our frontline patient care teams, including the clinical and operational teams that deliver and support care.
You will partner closely with Clinical, Operations, Product, Quality & Safety, and other subject matter experts to translate complex and evolving information into clear, practical learning that equips our teams with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver high-quality care at scale.
You will support learning across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding and ongoing development to new clinical programs, product launches, updated guidelines, systems, policies, and workflows. You will determine the right learning approach for each team (both clinical and non-clinical) and deliver scalable training that emphasizes practical application, decision-making, and performance on the job.
You are an experienced instructional designer who is comfortable working with clinical and technical complexity. You identify what learners truly need to know and do and turn that information into effective, engaging learning experiences. You bring strong attention to detail, sound instructional judgment, and a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to working in a fast-moving environment.
What you’ll do: Design & develop learning | Own instructional design projects end-to-end, creating engaging, asynchronous-first learning. Build for scale | Coordinate across teams to identify shared learning needs and build modular content that can be scaled across roles and audiences, while tailoring learning where workflows, responsibilities, or clinical scope differ.
Translate complexity | Partner with Clinical, Operations, Product, Quality & Safety, and other SMEs to turn complex and evolving information into clear, practical learning for frontline teams. Enable continuous learning | Create and maintain learning materials that effectively support onboarding, ongoing development, and changes to programs, products, systems, and workflows.
What you’ll bring: 5+ years of experience in a clinical / healthcare training role. Experience training in a telemedicine setting preferred Clinical experience (incl. RN) preferred.
Strong instructional design expertise, including adult learning principles, needs analysis, measurable learning objectives, application-based learning, and assessment design. Proven ability to translate complex clinical, technical, and operational information into clear, practical learning experiences.
Experience partnering with clinical subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to develop accurate, effective learning solutions. Hands-on experience developing across learning modalities and technologies, including eLearning tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline); experience with LMS platforms and learning analytics is a plus.
A high sense of ownership, strong attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple projects and evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
