Responsibilities

: Design and implement a comprehensive test strategy for the GIS migration solution, covering both automated and manual testing. Develop test cases, test scripts, and test environments to ensure the functionality, stability, and performance of the migration. Plan and coordinate the deployment of migration software across different test and production environments.

Ensure a stable and reproducible deployment process using appropriate tools and methodologies, such as CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with external development teams to coordinate and validate test results. Analyze test results, identify defects, investigate root causes, and support troubleshooting in close cooperation with the external project team.

Plan and execute system, integration, and acceptance tests. Perform individual test cases as required. Document testing and deployment processes and prepare test reports, technical documentation, and guidelines. Work closely with developers, data experts, and business stakeholders to support the successful implementation of the GIS migration project.

Requirements

: Strong knowledge and practical experience in test architecture, test automation, and test management , ideally within GIS or data migration environments. Practical experience with deployment processes, CI/CD, and version control systems . Experience with tools such as Xray, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps .

Knowledge of scripting/programming languages and technologies used for test and deployment automation, such as Python/ArcPy, SQL, or Terraform . Practical experience in setting up and managing test environments . Experience with system testing, integration testing, and acceptance testing .

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify technical issues and their root causes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with different project stakeholders and external development teams. Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing and deployment activities.

Experience in documenting technical processes and preparing test reports and guidelines. Experience with GIS systems and data migration is considered an advantage.
