About the program Preply AI Talent Accelerator is Preply's first engineering internship — a 6-month paid program for AI-native builders at the very start of their careers. You will join one product team as a contributing engineer, work on real problems on the same roadmap as everyone else, and ship an AI-driven project that reaches millions of language learners and tutors worldwide.

We're selecting 5 interns for the first cohort. Top performers will be considered for reserved junior engineering positions at the end of the program. Weeks 6–8 — Scope your AI project With your dedicated mentor, define a one-page project brief: the problem, why AI-driven, the success metric, the milestones. Months 2–5.5 — Build and ship Execute your project alongside regular team roadmap work. A meaningful, measurable result in production by ~month 5.5.

Month 6 — Final Weeks & Demo Day Present your project results to a committee of Preply directors and the CTO. Top performers will receive full-time junior engineering offers. What you'll get Paid internship — do real engineering work on a real roadmap.

Dedicated mentor on your team + program-level mentorship group with bi-weekly check-ins. Frontier AI stack — agents, LLM pipelines, AI-first workflows inside a company that ships AI to production daily. Product work at scale — build features for a global ed-tech product with 150,000+ tutors and millions of learners from 180 countries.

Compounding skills — production engineering + AI research mindset + product thinking, compressed into six months. Opportunity to become a Prepler – top performers will receive full-time junior engineering offers. Who we're looking for 3rd–6th year university student in a technical field (mathematics, computer science, physics) — or a recent graduate — or up to 2 years of work experience; Working knowledge of at least one language: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, or similar English proficiency at B2 or above; AI-native: you reach for AI by default — coding agents, LLM APIs, and AI-first workflows are how you naturally build, not a novelty; Have wins or strong results in olympiads, AI/informatics competitions, or hackathons; Open source contributions or a portfolio of shipped personal projects; Based in Ukraine and able to commit to a 28–40-hour-per-week internship (ideally, full-time).
