We’re looking for a Sales Solutions Engineer to drive technical and commercial success by aligning our platform capabilities with client needs across global markets. This role is central to both new client acquisition and existing client growth, combining deep technical expertise with strong commercial awareness to deliver tailored, market-fit solutions. If you have experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, and fintech environments, this is your opportunity to play a key role in shaping client success while influencing product innovation on a global scale. What you get to do: Technical Pre-Sales Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client ambitions, requirements, and decision criteria Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly showcase platform capabilities Develop compelling proposals aligned to client needs to maximise deal success Manage technical RFP responses in collaboration with Product, Technology, and Compliance teams Provide regional insights on compliance, integrations, and infrastructure requirements Define standard deal structures and escalate non-standard elements for approval Solutions Design Design high-level solution architectures including integrations, workflows, and system alignment Ensure all proposed solutions meet regional compliance and infrastructure requirements Identify and manage deviations from standard solutions, securing necessary approvals Develop structured implementation plans to support seamless delivery handover Post-Sale Solutioning Identify opportunities for client expansion across programmes, markets, and features Support clients with regional expertise to enable effective scaling Deliver workshops, training, and enablement initiatives to strengthen client capability Resolve technical escalations post-implementation to maintain strong client relationships Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate technical RFP processes across internal teams Maintain clarity on deal structures and ensure governance on exceptions Track capability gaps and analyse lost deals to inform product improvements Keep regional documentation and insights up to date for commercial teams What it takes to succeed: Minimum 5 years of experience in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, or solution architecture within fintech or payments  Strong technical expertise in solution architecture, integrations, and API-driven platforms Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences Proven experience in technical pre-sales including discovery, RFP management, and proposal development Deep understanding of regional compliance and fintech market requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to identifying gaps Self-driven and adaptable mindset suited to a fast-paced, cross-functional environment At Paymentology we value making a difference to the lives of the people who work for us and who live in the communities where we operate.
