Digital Marketing / Performance Marketing Manager – Paid Media & Growth | Remote Position Type: Full-Time, Remote Working Hours: U.S. Business Hours About the Role At Pavago , one of our clients is hiring a Digital Marketing / Performance Marketing Manager to plan, execute, and optimize performance-driven digital campaigns that generate leads, customers, and measurable revenue. This is a hands-on, data-driven role for someone who understands how to turn advertising budgets into business results. You’ll manage paid campaigns, analyze performance, improve conversion efficiency, and continuously test audiences, creatives, messaging, and channels. You’ll be accountable for metrics such as CPL, CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, and revenue impact — not just clicks and impressions. What You’ll Own Paid Media & Campaign Management Plan, launch, manage, and optimize digital advertising campaigns Manage paid media across platforms such as: Google Ads Meta Ads LinkedIn Ads Other relevant performance marketing channels Monitor campaign budgets, pacing, and overall performance Adjust targeting, bids, budgets, and campaign structures based on results Ensure campaigns remain aligned with lead generation and revenue goals Performance Analysis & Optimization Track and analyze key performance metrics, including: Cost per Lead (CPL) Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) Conversion Rate Cost per Acquisition (CPA) Identify underperforming campaigns and diagnose potential causes Make data-driven decisions to improve campaign efficiency Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance trends Audience, Keyword & Market Research Conduct audience and customer research to improve targeting Perform keyword research for paid search campaigns Identify new audience segments and targeting opportunities Monitor competitor activity and relevant market trends Translate research into actionable campaign opportunities Creative & Landing Page Collaboration Collaborate on campaign messaging, offers, and creative direction Work with designers, copywriters, or internal stakeholders on advertising assets Support landing page optimization to improve conversion rates Provide performance insights that help improve: Ad copy Creative concepts Calls to action Offers Landing pages Conversion Tracking & Attribution Monitor conversion tracking across campaigns and digital channels Work with analytics and tracking tools to understand the customer journey Ensure campaign performance is measured accurately Analyze attribution and identify which campaigns, channels, and audiences drive results Troubleshoot tracking inconsistencies when required Testing & Growth Build structured testing plans across: Audiences Creatives Messaging Offers Landing pages Channels Run A/B tests and analyze results Scale winning campaigns while reducing inefficient spend Identify new opportunities to improve acquisition performance Reporting & Insights Create regular campaign performance reports Communicate results clearly to leadership and stakeholders Highlight performance trends, risks, and opportunities Translate campaign data into clear recommendations and next steps Maintain visibility into advertising spend and business impact Requirements 2+ years of digital marketing or performance marketing experience Hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns Experience with one or more platforms such as: Google Ads Meta Ads LinkedIn Ads Similar paid acquisition platforms Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, including CPL, CAC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rates Experience managing advertising budgets Comfortable analyzing campaign data and making optimization decisions Strong understanding of audience targeting and campaign testing Strong communication and reporting skills Professional working English Ability to work effectively in a remote environment Nice to Have Experience with Google Analytics and digital tracking tools Experience with conversion tracking and attribution Experience optimizing landing pages and conversion funnels Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms Experience managing campaigns across multiple paid channels B2B, SaaS, e-commerce, agency, or lead-generation marketing experience Tools & Platforms Google Ads | Meta Ads | LinkedIn Ads | Google Analytics | Conversion Tracking & Attribution Tools | CRM & Marketing Platforms | Google Sheets / Excel What Makes You a Strong Fit You’ll likely thrive in this role if you: Think in terms of revenue and acquisition efficiency , not vanity metrics Are comfortable owning campaign performance Enjoy analyzing data and turning it into action Know how to balance creative experimentation with performance analysis Proactively identify ways to improve CPL, CAC, ROAS, and conversion rates Test systematically instead of relying on assumptions Can clearly explain campaign performance to stakeholders What a Typical Day Looks Like Your day may start by reviewing campaign spend, CPL, CAC, ROAS, and conversion performance across active channels. You’ll also prepare performance reports and identify opportunities to scale successful campaigns or improve underperforming ones.
