As a Cards Unit Manager , your mission is to lead and develop a high-performing Pan-Baltic team while shaping the vision, strategy, and performance of our cards products, services, and systems. You will drive customer-focused product development, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business growth across the Baltics.
How You Will Make an Impact: Define and own the vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and overall performance of the unit’s products, services, systems, and end-to-end business processes Own the Area’s budget, resource allocation, financial (cost side) performance, and delivery targets, ensuring the Area operates effectively and meets agreed objectives Ensure Data product ownership in accordance with the Data Management strategy including data availability for both regulatory and business reporting Drive product and service development based on customer needs, regulatory requirements, market trends, digital opportunities, and Luminor’s strategic objectives for innovation in product features, customer experience, and digital capabilities Ensure effective risk management, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, governance, documentation, data ownership, and readiness for internal and external audits Lead, coach, and develop the Cards Unit team across the Baltics, setting clear expectations, supporting individual growth, and fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture Build strong cross-functional and cross-border cooperation, represent the cards area in discussions with senior management, partners, regulators, financial associations, and governmental institutions What Makes You a Great Fit: 3+ years of previous managerial experience, with strong leadership, coaching, people development, and performance management skills Experience in product ownership, product development, process management, or a related area, preferably within banking or financial services Strong business judgment and the ability to manage budgets, resources, priorities, risks, and performance targets Excellent decision-making, planning, prioritization, stakeholder management, and cross-functional cooperation skills Advanced MS Office skills and professional working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence; SCRUM, Kanban, or Product Owner certification will be considered an advantage Higher education Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level Why You Will Love Working Here: Flexibility.
