Our client, a well-established organisation, is looking to recruit an HR Administrator to join their People & Culture team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative support across different HR activities, including employee documentation, work permits, recruitment and onboarding.
This role would suit someone with previous HR administration experience who is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable dealing with local employment authorities. Responsibilities Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team. Assist with the preparation and processing of employment-related documentation, including work permits and employment verification documents .
Liaise with relevant Maltese authorities, including Jobsplus and Identità , in relation to employment documentation and processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both digitally and through physical filing systems. Support recruitment activities, including CV screening, interview scheduling and communication with candidates.
Assist with the preparation of HR letters, forms, templates and other employee documentation. Support employee onboarding by preparing the necessary documentation and orientation materials. Ensure HR documentation and employee information are handled accurately and confidentially.
Provide additional administrative support to the HR team as required. Requirements 1–2 years of experience within HR administration or a similar role . Previous experience dealing with Maltese government authorities regarding employment documentation, particularly Jobsplus and Identità .
Good understanding of general HR administrative processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office , particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with a high level of discretion. Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and deadlines. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
