Solar PV Expert / Technical Advisor | Saudi Arabia

Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Solar PV Expert / Technical Advisor to support large-scale renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across project development, design evaluation, performance analysis, and risk assessment for utility-scale solar PV plants. This role requires strong expertise in solar technologies, engineering analysis, and financial/technical decision support. Key Responsibilities Lead technical due diligence for utility-scale solar PV projects during development and execution phases Review and validate system design, engineering layouts, and single-line diagrams (SLDs) Conduct energy yield assessments and performance simulations using industry-standard tools Evaluate and recommend PV technologies, modules, inverters, and balance-of-system (BOS) components Perform risk assessment and technical advisory for investment and EPC decisions Support project teams in design optimization and cost-performance balancing Analyze and benchmark LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) and project feasibility Provide expert input on contractor technical submissions and vendor evaluations Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EPC, procurement, and project finance Ensure compliance with international solar standards and best engineering practices
