We’re committed to making high-quality behavioral healthcare more accessible to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">As our Senior Accountant, you’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role in helping ensure our financial operations remain accurate, efficient, and well-supported as we continue to grow.</p> <h2>What You’ll Do</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">You’ll independently manage our recurring accounting and month-end close responsibilities, including:</p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Own the <strong>monthly close process from start to finish</strong></li> <li>Review and code daily bank and credit card transactions in <strong>QuickBooks Online</strong></li> <li>Record <strong>semimonthly payroll journal entries</strong> based on payroll provider reports</li> <li>Prepare and record journal entries, accruals, and other accounting adjustments</li> <li>Complete balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules</li> <li>Review financial activity for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate accounting treatment</li> <li>Prepare monthly <strong>Profit &amp; Loss, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows</strong></li> <li>Maintain accounting workpapers and close documentation</li> <li>Support year-end audit requests and schedules</li> <li>Occasionally review new grants, contracts, or funding agreements to determine appropriate accounting treatment and reporting requirements</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiency</li> </ul> <h2>What Your Schedule Looks Like</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">This role is designed to provide <strong>maximum flexibility with a predictable monthly scope of work.</strong></p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">The engagement is approximately <strong>40 hours per month</strong>, with most work concentrated around:</p> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>🧾 <strong>Daily:</strong> Brief transaction review and sync in QuickBooks Online</li> <li>💵 <strong>Twice monthly:</strong> Payroll journal entries</li> <li>📊 <strong>Month-end:</strong> Monthly close and financial reporting</li> </ul> <p class="isSelectedEnd">The monthly close should be completed <strong>within the first week of the following month</strong>, but you’ll have flexibility in how you manage those hours.
