About Exerizon At Exerizon, we've redefined the traditional consulting model: we're not just a service provider, but a partner who shares both risk and success with our clients. Why we're looking for you We're building a patient information repository for a large healthcare organization in Poland, using HL7 FHIR (R5) as our data exchange and storage standard, implemented on HAPI FHIR / Smile CDR.
Hosting, scaling, and the integration layer (eventing, anti-corruption layer) are handled by our infrastructure team — this role is focused on data modeling, not platform operations. You'll join as a subject matter expert who shapes how clinical data is structured and validated, not just how it's stored.
Has taken FHIR (R4 and/or R5) through a real dev-to-prod journey on a production project Has built a custom Implementation Guide or contributed to an existing one — ideally on top of HL7 Europe Base/Core (R5) as the clinical foundation, with awareness of national IG integration Has hands-on experience profiling in FHIR Shorthand (FSH) and compiling profiles via SUSHI Can translate business/clinical requirements into a FHIR data model Has participated in mapping ICHOM terminology to LOINC/SNOMED CT, working alongside a clinician Can independently validate FHIR resources against profiles (StructureDefinitions) on a prepared environment Nice to have Experience in an EHDS (European Health Data Space) context Familiarity with SMART on FHIR at the requirements-specification level (not necessarily implementation) Remote work: Work remotely from within the EU — due to the sensitive nature of medical data, work outside the EU is not possible for this role.
Impact: A genuine opportunity to shape IT solutions for key market players, without unnecessary corporate bureaucracy. Seniority Culture: Work alongside experts with backgrounds at the world's leading consulting and technology firms. Attractive
Compensation
At Exerizon, we value concrete results, so our rates reflect the highest market standard. Private medical insurance (for employees based in Poland)
