David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an Audio-Visual Manager for their offices in Iasi, Romania. Position: Audio-Visual Manager Location: Iasi, Romania Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, configure, and test new equipment and technical systems. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in production, broadcasting, and interactive media. Set up, monitor, and manage audio-visual and communication links between locations or units. Diagnose and repair technical issues in equipment and systems to ensure minimal downtime. Implement quick and effective contingency measures to maintain uninterrupted service during equipment failures. Operate and manage equipment and transmission systems for live or remote productions. Design and install custom circuits, hardware, and integrated audio-visual systems. Contribute to the development and improvement of technical infrastructure and workflows. Adhere to and promote best practices in workplace health and safety. Interpret and execute technical or creative instructions from project leads and stakeholders. Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments. Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional networking. REQUIREMENTS: Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication In-depth understanding of imaging, photography, and video production principles (e.g., aperture, exposure, ISO, and lens operations). Hands-on experience in electronic engineering, broadcast systems, or communication technologies. Proficiency in camera operation, video switchers, and live production workflows. Familiarity with chroma keying, signal routing, and SDI infrastructure. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues creatively. Excellent IT literacy and project management abilities. Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control. Effective time management and organizational skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production environments. Ability to remain composed and perform well under pressure. Adequate color vision and hearing to meet technical role requirements.
