We hold every hire to the same five standards: Taste, Agency, Speed, Craft, Responsibility.</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labour regulations, and reporting requirements across every jurisdiction we operate in</li> <li>Coordinate and maintain relationships with our outsourced payroll service providers across Europe</li> <li>Review and audit provider performance to ensure accuracy and alignment with Grandstand's standards</li> <li>Partner with service providers and the Finance team to resolve payroll-related issues and escalations quickly</li> <li>Lead efforts to streamline data collection, input, and reporting across the payroll function</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate payroll tax filings and submissions</li> <li>Coordinate with Finance and Legal teams to address compliance matters as they arise</li> <li>Be the go-to person for employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions, offering clear guidance and support</li> <li>Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement payroll process improvements</li> <li>Prepare and present payroll-related data for management reporting and audit purposes</li> <li>Liaise with HR on benefits where payroll is impacted</li> <li>Use AI-enabled tools to enhance analysis, reporting, and process efficiency — while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and data protection standards</li> <li>Support special projects as assigned by management</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p> <p><strong>✅ Must-Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in a payroll coordinator, specialist, or administrator role, ideally with exposure to European/multi-country payroll</li> <li>Experience managing or coordinating with outsourced payroll providers or bureaus — not just processing payroll in-house</li> <li>Solid working knowledge of PAYE, tax compliance, and labour regulations in at least one European jurisdiction</li> <li>Comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and HR</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy when handling sensitive employee data</li> <li>Available to start within a short timeframe given the contract nature of the role</li> <li>Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and day-to-day efficiency</li> </ul> <p><strong>⭐ Nice-to-Have</strong></p> <ul> <li>IPASS qualification (Certificate in Payroll Techniques or above)</li> <li>Experience with payroll systems such as UKG, Symplify, or similar HRIS/payroll platforms</li> <li>Prior experience in a fast-scaling or multi-entity organisation</li> </ul> <p>Perks &amp; Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive private Healthcare Insurance</li> <li>Flexible work environment and home office available</li> <li>Home office allowance</li> <li>Gym &amp; Leisure Allowance</li> <li>All the hardware and software you need to be successful</li> <li>Regular company events and social outings, activities, Spot Awards and a Monthly Social Club</li> <li>Access to courses for Personal and Career Development</li> <li>Company Paid Volunteer Day</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
