What you will do: To maintain the highest level of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation. The Kitchen Steward plays a vital role in supporting the culinary team by cleaning utensils, sanitizing equipment, and managing waste, enabling the kitchen to operate seamlessly and meet all health and safety standards. Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are cleaned and sanitized according to hygiene standards. Handle washing and drying of plates, cutlery, and cooking equipment efficiently. Properly dispose of kitchen waste and maintain a clean, organized back-of-house area. Assist in organizing kitchen supplies and ensuring cleaning products are adequately stocked. Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and maintaining a hazard-free environment. You will fit in this job if you: No formal education required; basic literacy preferred. Prior experience in kitchen or cleaning role preferred. Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning procedures. Ability to operate dishwashing machines and cleaning tools. Physically fit and able to work long hours. Reliable, punctual, and disciplined. Team player with attention to detail.
