Logistics Specialist

And we're now one of the fastest growing tech scale-ups in Europe. We are in search of a Logistics Specialist to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar . In this role, you'll play a crucial part in overseeing all aspects of operational processes within the company, with a focus on managing our inventory levels and transportation/shipping services. This role will also be responsible for the backup of our transportation/shipping activities in different regions. Fair warning: we're scaling fast and the data and reporting capabilities are scaling with us. You'll often need to pull from multiple systems and build the picture yourself before you can analyse it. If you need everything pre-structured to do good work, this isn't the role. What you’ll be doing: Ensure accurate and timely recording of all inventory movements within the ERP system; Monitor and control inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations, optimizing for cost-efficiency and minimizing excess stock and carrying costs; Develop, update, and maintain logistics and inventory process documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and operational best practices; Create and maintain transportation orders, ensuring effective communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments; Prepare and manage all required transportation documentation (e.g., packing lists, delivery notes, transport guides), ensuring compliance with legal and company standards; Analyze key logistics KPIs (e.g., delivery performance, freight costs) to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions; Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, production, warehousing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations. What you’ll bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Management or a related field; 3+ years of experience in Logistics, Transportation management or Supply Chain; Fluent in English and Portuguese, other languages would be a plus; Proficient in logistics and inventory management software; Analytical, methodical and process oriented; Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously improving environment; Good communication, team collaboration and organizational skills; Advanced problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail; Proactive, always looking to improve established processes and collaborating with other teams to find new improvement possibilities. It would be great if you would also have: Experience with Odoo (ERP) is a big plus; Experience in inventory management within multiple locations; Experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance and incoterms; Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements.
