Job Description: We are on the hunt for a skilled Insurance Claims and Billing Specialist to manage and streamline our financial processes. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of U.S. health insurance, especially within the realm of physical therapy, and will be adept in using various billing software tools, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Insurance Claims Management: Regularly review, update, and systematize patient and insurance company payment logs. Prioritize timely and accurate insurance claims submission to optimize revenue. Software Optimization: Actively collaborate with the team to augment the capabilities of WebPT Therabill and other software tools.
Detect areas needing enhancement and devise effective resolutions. Payment Tracking: Create and sustain robust systems to oversee payments, ensuring no claim remains unsettled. Pinpoint and rectify any discrepancies or issues swiftly.
Health Insurance Expertise : Leverage extensive knowledge of U.S. health insurance, especially in the context of physical therapy. This includes adept management of secondary insurance claims, accurate patient billing, visit tracking, and ensuring services are billed on time. Efficiency Enhancement: Collaborate with the team to refine and automate routine tasks, particularly those managed via Google Sheets. Revise workflows to support the practice's expansion.
Requirements
Deep familiarity with the U.S. health insurance ecosystem, preferably with experience in physical therapy. Must be proficient in WebPT and Therabill. Eagerness to work in unison with the team to innovate and introduce superior systems. Strong english communication skills - both written and verbal.
