Key Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between the client’s business organization and software delivery teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new initiatives or system enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user manuals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects.
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making and drive business insights.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Participate in testing activities, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business analysis and process improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst or Business Analyst with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Proficient in various requirement analysis, modeling, and documentation techniques (e.g., business process modeling, BRD, FSD, use cases / user stories, data flow diagrams, data interrogation, data mapping, etc.)
  • Proficient with tools to create wireframes/Workflow like Balsamiq, Lucid charts, MS Visio, UML etc.
  • Solid understanding of the entire software development lifecycle and various development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Excellent english communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Thorough understanding of software development architectures and the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Able to work as a transition lead.
  • Should possess knowledge to work on AI based projects

Additional Experience Desired

  • Certification(s) such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis) is a plus.
  • Experience with Business Process Management Solutions such as Macess (BPM) is nice-to-have
  • Background in finance/banking is add on
